Back in college, I took a html class thinking that knowledge will come in handy someday.  I was correct in that the knowledge from college has come to be very valuable to me. Now many years later my boss at work has asked me to put together a website for our company.  We have a small little company.  We will be using this site to promote ourselves. 

I am very rusty at typing even basic html code.  Luckily I found through a friend a template to use that sets up most of the website for me.  All I need to do is customize what I have.  It's been a rough learning curve to figure out what is there and what isn't. 

I have not been doing it full time due to my other work duties but been working on it a little bit here and there.  I wish I had more time to work on this particular site but due to time restraints need to do a little here and there.  Hopefully from here on out won't take me too much time to get something up and running that will be decent for the boss to review.  I wish I had more mondern day knowledge of this.  But we'll see how it goes.  I will keep you all up to date on the status.

To be private or not??

I feel as though I am a private person.  There are certain matters that I will not post about to the general public.  What is hard for me to believe is that people now a days post everything anything that goes on in their individual lives.  There is no mystery.  People are doing less face to face interaction, but rather blog about it.  Face to face interaction is hard to beat!!! Yes, people can blog about this and that from the comforts of their own home.  But, all I gotta say is the interaction is not the same.  People say and do things that are not acceptable in person while blogging or microblogging.  People please keep some things private.  Some things people do not want to know.  And yet it gets posted.
